My Advice For Upcoming Sixth Graders

Are you nervous for sixth grade right now? Don’t be! It’s super simple if you just pay attention and follow directions you will succeed. All you need to do is follow these tips and you will have it in the bag. By the way,you only have two STAAR tests,so stop stressing!

Tips!!!

*If you really want to get on Coach Terry’s good side,
Get him,gum,Dr.Pepper,and anything longhorn related,
And you are golden! You will be his favorite student ever!He loves everything
that is longhorn related.I give him gum, and one day I was playing with slime in
his class and he called me to his desk.Well I though I was going to be in trouble,
but turns out,he just wanted some gum!!!

*Also,if you get to his class and you don’t say, “Yes sir” or
“No sir”,he will give you a detention,so use your manners! It is rude not to
use your manners when talking to someone, especially Coach Terry.
One time, I was sitting by his desk, and this kid came up to give him his journal, and Coach
Terry asked “Did you finish them all,”and the kid said “yeah” instead of “yes sir”, and Coach Terry
got out a detention slip,so use
you manners.

In conclusion, it’s not that hard! Teachers in the sixth grade are super nice! Except one, I’ll let you figure that one out on your own.
Love,
Mackenna Samford
6th grader!
